Luminex Respiratory Panel includes test for SARS-CoV-2
We have had a number of queries in recent weeks in relation to the Luminex Nx TAG Respiratory Panel – test code LRSC.
This test has been the NVRL first line assay for Influenza and other Respiratory viruses since December 2017. In the setting of the pandemic, the formulation was updated to include SARS-CoV-2.
NVRL introduced this new assay on 15th January 2021. As a result, all samples received at NVRL for Influenza and Respiratory viruses are routinely tested for SARS-CoV-2.
