Change in NVRL secondary anti HCV test.

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

From 10th April onwards, the NVRL will be using the Innotest anti-HCV assay instead of the VIDAS anti-HCV assay.

Please continue to request the Architect anti-HCV assay; the Innotest anti-HCV assay is a reflex assay here at the NVRL and will be used as required according to our own testing algorithm(s).

The NVRL IT department will provide specific information including the relevant test request code to all users who interact with us electronically.

Please contact the NVRL at 01 716 1347 if you would like to discuss this matter further.
