UCD NVRL is pleased to inform our users that our STI service is back up and running. Please continue to send samples as previously.

Aptima Collection devices for combined Chlamydia / Gonorrhoea testing / Trichomonas vaginalis/ M. genitalium can be ordered from the website at https://nvrl.ucd.ie/swabs

Turnaround times (TATs) are broadly in line with those published on the NVRL Pathogen Index, available on the website – 5 days for STI screening. Any delay will be due to the on-going impact of COVID-19 testing.

All other Molecular Virology services have resumed. Serology services were not affected and are as normal.
