The National Virus Reference Laboratory is delighted to advise all our users that the laboratory has received the ‘Healthcare Laboratory of the Year’ Award at the Irish Laboratory Awards 2021 ceremony, held today via Zoom.

This represents an acknowledgement of the dedicated work done by all the staff of the National Virus Reference Laboratory in what was a very difficult year for everyone, not just within the NVRL but nationally and globally. We acknowledged the collaboration of the HSE and of our colleagues in the Hospital Laboratory Network.

The NVRL continues to provide a consultant-led, quality driven, clinically relevant diagnostic and reference service for the investigation of patient samples. We thank you for your support.
